Edmund Minahan
Edmund Minahan ( Edmund Joseph "Cotton" Minahan ; born December 10, 1882 in Springfield , Ohio , † May 20, 1958 in East Orange , New Jersey ) was an American sprinter .
Although he was only 17 years old, he was nominated for the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris. There he was sixth in the 60-meter run and reached the semi-finals of the 100-meter run .
Edmund Minahan started for Georgetown University . In 1907 he played as a pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds baseball team .
