Edmund Zieliński

Edmund Roman Zieliński , also known as Edward Zieliński , (born September 24, 1909 in Kijewo Królewskie , † December 8, 1992 in Warsaw ) was a Polish ice hockey player .

Career

Edmund Zieliński spent a large part of his club career at AZS Posen , for which he ran from 1930 to 1938. With the team he won the Polish championship title in the 1933/34 season . From 1938 to 1939 he played for Pogon Katowice , after the Second World War he also played a season for Siemianowiczanka .

International

For the Polish national ice hockey team , Zieliński took part in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . He also played for the national team at the Ice Hockey World Championships in 1935 and 1938 . He played a total of 26 international matches for Poland, in which he scored eleven goals.
