Eduard (Geldern)
Eduard, Duke of Geldern (* March 12, 1336 - † August 24, 1371 in Baesweiler ) was Duke of Geldern from 1361 until his death .
He was the younger son of Rainald II from his second marriage to Eleonore , daughter of King Edward II.
Supported by his mother, he waged a fratricidal war against his older brother Rainald III from 1350 . and took this prisoner in 1361 in the battle of Tiel .
Eduard died in the battle of Baesweiler and was buried in the Graefenthal monastery. His brother was reinstated as regent.
