Eduard Alexandrowitsch Chrennikow ( Russian Эдуард Александрович Хренников ; born May 19, 1973 in Usolye-Sibirskoye ) is a Russian ski orienteer .

Chrennikow started at all seven world championships between 1998 and 2009 and won 13 gold medals. He celebrated his first success in 1998 in Windischgarsten with the Russian season consisting of Nikolai Bondar , Chrennikow, Viktor Korchagin and Wladislaw Kormchikow . The Russian team managed to defend the title in Krasnoyarsk in 2000 with the line-up of Andrei Gruzdew , Viktor Korchagin , Vladislav Kormchikov and Khrennikov. In addition, Chrennikow won his first individual medal at a world championship with silver behind the Italian Nicolò Corradini on the short distance. In 2002 he became world champion in the middle distance and again with the relay in Borovets . Also in 2004, 2005 and 2007 the Russian relay should remain victorious. Chrennikow won individual gold at these world championships twice on the long distance, twice in the middle distance and twice in the sprint. He achieved a historic triumph at the 2007 World Cup : Chrennikov won all three individual competitions as well as the Russian relay. In 2009 he completed his last world championship in Rusutsu, Japan, and won silver again in the long distance behind his compatriot Andrei Lamow .

Eduard Chrennikow was overall World Cup winner in 2000, 2003, 2006 and 2011 and is multiple European champion.
