Eduard Beintker

Friedrich Heinrich Eduard Beintker (born September 28, 1853 in Hamm , † December 7, 1926 in Anklam ) was a German teacher and local researcher . He had the title of professor.

Life

Eduard Beintker came from Hamm in Westphalia, studied ancient languages, German, history and geography at the Universities of Göttingen and Greifswald and then started training as a teacher. He got a job in the Pomeranian Anklam, where he settled down permanently and, in addition to his teaching profession, which he practiced at grammar school for 41 years, spent his free time studying local history, some of which were also published. He was also a member of the magistrate.

He belonged to the philologists' association in Pomerania and was a member of its colloquium.

family

Eduard Beintker married Pauline nee Haase. The later National Socialist functionary Paul Beintker (* 1889) emerged from the marriage.
