Eduard Eusebius Maiß

Eduard Eusebius Maiß (born September 26, 1830 in Fürstlich Langenau, Leobschütz district , † after 1910) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

Life

Maiß studied law at the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelms University . In 1850 he became a member of the Corps Marchia Breslau . After completing his studies, he pursued a career as a judge. He was a district judge and from 1866 to 1872 conductor of the court deputation in Myslowitz . From 1872 to 1879 he was a district judge and then a district judge in Ratibor . Most recently he lived as a district judge a. D. in Opole .

From 1870 to 1876 Mai sat as a member of the constituency Opole 5 (Beuthen) and from 1879 to 1893 as a member of the constituency Opole 7 (Ratibor) in the Prussian House of Representatives . As a Catholic, he belonged to the faction of the German Center Party since it was founded on December 13, 1870 .
