Eduard Hirnschrodt senior

Eduard Hirnschrodt Sr. (* 1875 in Urfahr near Linz ; † 1933 Regensburg ) was an Austro-German organ builder.

Life

Eduard Hirnschrodt was born in Urfahr near Linz in 1875. He completed an organ builder training with Karl and Hans Mauracher . After ten years in Austria and Hungary he went to Germany and worked for the most progressive organ building companies of the time, Späth , Walcker and Hammer . In 1904 he came to Regensburg to the Binder company , where he worked as a voicer from 1912 . In 1925 he founded the company Hirnschodt & Sohn with his son of the same name, Eduard Hirnschrodt . He continued the company after his death.
