Eduard Isenmann

Eduard Isenmann (born April 10, 1860 in Bruchsal ; † September 25, 1932 there ) was a German politician (center).

Live and act

Isenmann was born the son of a master carpenter. From 1866 to 1871 he attended elementary school in Bruchsal. In addition, he was taught at the Bruchsal Music School from 1868 to 1871. He attended the grammar school in Bruchsal up to the lower secondary school. He then completed an apprenticeship as a painter in Durlach, where he also attended the trade school. A few years of practical work as a painter's assistant in Pforzheim and Munich followed . From 1881 to 1884 Isenmann received further training at the arts and crafts school and at the municipal decorative painting school (Rosental School) as well as in evening courses in Munich. In 1885 he opened a shop in Bruchsal. In 1886 he married. He later founded the Bruchsal land and house owners association as well as a health insurance company and a death benefit fund for the independent trade in Baden. He was also a member of the Bruchsal trade association.

In 1914 Isemann became chairman of the Karlsruhe Chamber of Crafts .

Isenmann exercised his first political activity at the municipal level as a city councilor in Bruchsal. In the Reichstag elections of June 1920 Isemann was a candidate of the center for the constituency 35 (Baden) in the Reichstag voted, where he remained until the elections in May 1924th
