Eduard Kastner

Eduard Kastner (born September 15, 1950 ) is a German media entrepreneur .

Career

Kastner is the fourth generation to run the printing and publishing house Kastner AG in Wolnzach , where the Wolnzacher Anzeiger is published. Under his leadership, it was expanded into a supraregional media company with around 140 employees.

He has represented entrepreneurial interests since the beginning of the 1990s as a member of the plenary assembly of the Ingolstadt-Pfaffenhofen Chamber of Commerce and Industry , of which he is the second chairman.

He is a sponsor of artists and an organizer of art exhibitions. Originally, young artists were supported with exhibitions, but now great artists such as Salvador Dalí , Ludwig Valentin Angerer and Christo and Jeanne-Claude are also shown. In 1998 he was the first non-emeritus since Ludwig Erhard to be appointed honorary member of the Munich Academy of Fine Arts to promote art and culture .
