Eduard Loerbroks

Eduard Loerbroks (born March 23, 1814 in Soest , † August 30, 1872 in Hamm ) was a German local politician.

Life

Eduard Loerbroks was born in Soest as the second of 10 children of the married justice commissioner and notary Georg Wilhelm-Florens Loerbroks (1780 - 1845) and Maria Elisabeth Sophie Schulenburg (1792 - 1867). He studied at the University of Bonn . In 1835 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia . After completing his studies, he settled in Hamm and was mayor there from 1843 to 1856 . Since 1846 he was married to Bertha Walther (1824-1892).

Edward's brother Otto Loerbroks (1824–1870) is the father of Otto Loerbroks (1870–1941).
Eduard is the grandfather of Hermann Loerbroks (1883–1954).

The Loerbroks family are descendants of Johann Loerbrockhausen, whose son Kasper Loerbrockhausen was a fief carrier on the Schulzengut Loerbrokhausen / Loerbrocks .
