Eduard Meyer (politician, 1817)

Eduard Meyer (born June 1, 1817 in Hanover ; † August 11, 1901 ) was a German lawyer , judge , Senate President and politician .

Life

Eduard Meyer studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1837 he became a member of the Corps Bremensia Göttingen . After graduating, he entered the Prussian judicial service. He became President of the Senate and later President of the Higher Regional Court in Celle . He was Crown Syndicate and Real Secret Chief Justice . He was awarded the honorary doctorate of a Dr. jur. hc and one D. theol. hc awarded.

From 1869 until his death in 1901 he sat in the Prussian mansion .
