Eduard Schlegel (basketball player)

Eduard Schlegel (born April 5,  1966 in Kant (Kyrgyzstan) ) is a former German basketball player who played in the basketball league for Oberelchingen in the 1990s .

career

Schlegel was born in what was then the Soviet Republic of Kyrgyzstan . He played basketball at the Frunze Kyrgyzstan club. In the 1990s, the 2.04-meter-tall winger played the German Bundesliga club SV Oberelchingen , with whom he also competed in the European Cup.

In 1999 he moved to BG Ludwigsburg , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd basketball league as an undefeated champion  . Following the 2000/01 season, he left the second division and then played for Sportvg Feuerbach in the regional league.
