The Eduardas Balsys Art High School Klaipėda is a grammar school and an art school with 200 employees in the port city of Klaipėda , the third largest city in Lithuania .
history
In 1981 the Stasys Šimkus Higher Music School opened the Children's Music Education Department. The initiators were the Soviet-Lithuanian Education Minister H. Zabulis, the Vice-Rector of the Klaipėda Faculties of the Conservatory of Lithuania Vytautas Jakelaitis and the politician Alfonsas Žalys . From 1983 to 1985 there was the boarding middle schools of Art ( Klaipėdos vidurinė internatinė meno mokykla ) from 1985 to 1993, the Eduardas Balsys- -Kunstmittelschule- boarding Klaipėda ( Klaipėdos Eduardo Balsio vidurinė meno mokykla internatas ). In 1993 it became a high school .
