Eduardo Antonio Bacas Roja (born December 20, 1953 in San Miguel de Tucumán ) is a former Argentine soccer player who mainly played in midfield and began working as a soccer coach after his active career.

career

Bacas spent his first professional years with the Argentine clubs Atlético Ledesma , Altos Hornos Zapla and most recently Rosario Central , with whom he won the Argentine football championship in 1980 .

In 1981, Bacas moved to Mexico , where he was initially under contract for six years with Club America , with whom he won the championship title of the Mexican Football League three times in a row in the 1983/84 , 1984/85 and Prode 85 seasons. He then played for the Mexico-based clubs Deportivo Neza (1987/88), Tampico-Madero FC (1988 to 1990) and UANL Tigres , in whose ranks he ended his professional career in the 1990/91 season. He then played on an amateur basis in the Mexican Liga Española de Fútbol .

After his active career, Bacas began working as a trainer and in 2010 was the first head coach for CF Atlante and its farm team Atlante UTN . He then took care of Altamira FC (2012), CD Cuautitlán (2013) and Deportivo Nuevo Chimalhuacán (2014).
