Eduardo Morilla (* around 1900 in Asturias , Spain , † June 6, 1961 in Puebla , Puebla , Mexico ) was a Spanish football player on the position of striker , who acted as a coach after his active career .

Life

Morilla began his active career in 1921 with Sporting Gijón , where he played 56 games and scored 44 goals in six years. Before the 1927/28 season he moved to Club Celta de Vigo .

In the 1940s, Morilla worked as a coach at the Mexican clubs Moctezuma and Puebla , with which he was able to celebrate the cup win once . He also reached the runner-up in the same 1944/45 season with Puebla .

Eduardo Morilla died on June 6, 1961 in Puebla of complications from a liver disease.
