Edward Herrera (born July 14, 1986 in Pietà ) is a Maltese football player .

Edward Herrera, who mainly plays as a defender, began his professional career in 2006 at the Maltese first division club Pietà Hotspurs , to whose team he belonged until 2008. He then moved to the squad of Hibernians Paola , with whom he won the championship in the Maltese Premier League in the first year . After four seasons he joined FC Birkirkara , with whom he again won the championship at the end of the 2012/13 season . He has been playing for FC Floriana since the beginning of 2019 .

He also appeared for the Maltese national team 19 times between 2009 and 2015 . On November 19, 2009 he made his debut as a substitute in a friendly against the team from Bulgaria.
