Edward Miller (composer)
Edward Miller (born October 30, 1735 in Norwich , † September 12, 1807 in Doncaster ) was a British composer and historian .
Life
Miller, a well-known organist, composed sonatas and hymns. He was a Doctor of Music at Oxford .
Miller is also a historian and wrote a history of the city of Doncaster in 1804.
Miller was the maternal great-great grandfather of Ernest Hemingway .
His son was the violinist and composer Willam Edward Miller .
