Edward Schramm

Edward Schramm (born December 16, 1965 in Coburg ) is a German lawyer and professor of criminal law , criminal procedure law , commercial criminal law , European and international criminal law at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena . His research interests also include matrimonial and family criminal law as well as law and literature.

Life

Schramm received his doctorate in 2003 from the University of Tübingen under Theodor Lenckner . In 2004 he received the doctoral award from the University of Tübingen for his doctorate on the subject of infidelity and consensus . In 2009 he completed his habilitation with Kristian Kühl on the subject of marriage and family in criminal law . He was a substitute professor or professor at the universities of Würzburg , Konstanz , Gießen and Freiburg im Breisgau . In 2013 Edward Schramm was appointed professor at the University of Jena. Here he heads a German-Georgian criminal law project funded by the Volkswagen Foundation (2016–2019).
