Edward Skilton (born September 26, 1863 in London , † June 21, 1917 in Watford ) was a British marksman .

Edward Skilton took part in the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm , where he competed in two disciplines. He finished the individual competition with the army rifle at 600 m with 85 points in 16th place. With the army rifle, he was also part of the British team, which finished second over four different distances behind the United States and ahead of Sweden. In addition to Skilton, Harcourt Ommundsen , Henry Burr , James Reid , Edward Parnell and Arthur Fulton won the silver medal. With 266 points, he was the team's second best shooter along with Reid, Burr and Parnell.
