Edwin G. Pulleyblank

Edwin George Pulleyblank FRSC (born August 7, 1922 in Calgary , Alberta , † April 13, 2013 in Vancouver , British Columbia ) was a Canadian sinologist .

Pulleyblank was Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia . He was best known for his works on the historical phonology of Chinese .
