Edwin Haselbach

Edwin Jakob Haselbach-Lutz (born September 10, 1940 in Zurich ; † April 12, 2014 ) was a Swiss chemist .

Edwin Haselbach was founded in 1967 at the ETH Zurich in the work studies on the conformation of the Benzalanilins and ortho-substituted azobenzene derivatives and on the structure of the trans-azonium cation at Edgar Heilbronner to Dr. sc. nat. PhD . In 1980 he was appointed professor for physical chemistry at the Swiss University of Friborg and was director of the Institute for Physical Chemistry from 1980 until his retirement. In 1985/86 he was Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.

He was an honorary member of the AKV Alemannia .
