Edwin "Edi" Nägeli (born August 13, 1912 ; † December 6, 1979 ) was president of the Swiss football club FC Zurich from 1957 until his death in 1979 .

The FCZ experienced its most successful time under Nägeli, winning six Swiss championship titles and five Swiss cup victories. Due to his success as president of FC Zurich and as the owner of the well-known shops “Naegeli zum Tabakfass”, he was a well-known original, always wearing a hat and a stump in his mouth (that's why it's popularly known as “Stumpen-Edi”).

After his death, the Edi Nägeli memorial tournament was held in Zurich in 1980 in his memory . FC Zurich, Grasshopper Club Zurich , Leeds United and Eintracht Frankfurt met in Letzigrund , and the Frankfurters won the tournament by beating GC in the final.
