Eejanaika ( Jap. ええじゃないか ) in Fuji-Q Highland in Japanese Fujiyoshida one is 4th dimension - steel roller coaster of manufacturer S & S Power , which was opened on 19 July 2006. After X 2 in Six Flags Magic Mountain , which opened in 2002, it is the second 4th dimension roller coaster worldwide. It is considered the fastest, tallest and longest roller coaster of this type.
In a 4th dimension coaster, the seats are attached to the side of the rails and can be rotated through 360 ° in a controlled manner. This is possible by using four instead of two rails: one pair of rails serves as a running rail for the train, the other two rails are used to rotate the seats. To do this, gears and racks are used.
According to the Guinness Book of Records , Eejanaika is the roller coaster with the most inversions in the world with 14 inversions . However, this is due to the number of seat rotations and not to the number of inversions that the complete train passes through.
Other roller coasters in the amusement park are the Dodonpa , Fujiyama, and Takabisha .
