Efe Halil Özarslan (born January 3, 1990 in Mersin ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
society
Özarslan began playing club football in the youth amateur club Çiftlikköy Adonisspor in his hometown of Mersin . Here he was discovered in 2004 by the talent hunters Gençlerbirliği Ankara and brought to the youth department of this club. In the summer of 2008 he received a professional contract with Gençlerbirliği, but was still used for two and a half years only in the youth or reserve team. In order to enable him match practice in a professional league, he was loaned to Adana Demirspor for the second half of the 2009/10 season. He played the 2010/11 season on loan at Hacettepe SK and the 2010/11 at Bucaspor . In the latter, he convinced right away, so that Bucaspor pulled the purchase option for the 2011/12 season and signed Özarslan.
In the summer of 2013, he said he was negotiating with the traditional Istanbul club Beşiktaş . After these transfer rumors, he was suspended from the squad by Bucaspor. In mid-June 2013, he moved within the league to the club in his hometown, Mersin İdman Yurdu .
In January 2016 he moved to the second division Karşıyaka SK . After he missed relegation with this club in the summer of 2016, he moved on to Boluspor for the new season . In the winter transfer period 2016/17 he was signed by the first division club Kayserispor , but released again after half a season.
National team
Özarslan played twice for the Turkish U-19 national team in 2009 . In 2014 he made his debut for the second selection of the Turkish national team , for the Turkish A2 national team.
