Egbert Seidel
Egbert Johannes Seidel (* 1958 in Weimar ) is a German doctor .
Seidel studied human medicine from 1978 to 1984 at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena .
He is a specialist in physical and rehabilitative medicine as well as sports medicine with additional training in chiropractic , special pain therapy , physical therapy and balneology and naturopathic , as well as a Master of Science in geriatrics . Since 1998 he has been chief physician at the Center for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the Sophien and Hufeland Clinic in Weimar . Furthermore, since 2007 he has been the medical director of the sports medical examination center in Weimar of the German Olympic Sports Confederation.
Seidel has been honorary professor for musicians' medicine and music psychology at the Liszt School of Music in Weimar since 2000 .
