history

Swesedlicz was first mentioned in writing in 1370, when Vladike Medvědek called Vlček von Tršice bought the village with the approval of Margrave Johann Heinrich in exchange for a third of Tršice and a share from Bělá from Unka and Viknan from Majetín. After the death of her husband Medvědek, his widow sold her morning gift to Václav von Doloplazy in 1386 with the permission of Margrave Jobst of Moravia . In 1389, he bequeathed Swesedlicz to the Olomouc cathedral chapter in his will for his salvation, with the exception of the three quarter bonnets that belonged to the church in Velký Týnec . From the income of the village, one pound of groschen flowed annually to the hospital in the Olomouc outer bailey and further interest went to the Dominican monastery of St. Michael. In addition, a funeral mass was held annually for Václav von Doloplazy and his ancestors. Other forms of name were Swesedlicze (1391), Svisedlice , Svísedlice (from 1600), Svéselice (1627), Swisedlicze (1663), Svisedlicze (1673), Zwisedlicz (1691), Swiesedlitz (from 1718), Wisedlitium , Wysedlicze , Wysedlitz (1771) und Swisedlitz (from 1839). The registers have been kept in Velká Bystřice since 1651. In the hoof register of 1657, two quarter heights are shown as desolate for Svésedlice. Since the first half of the 18th century, Svésedlice led a dispute with Přáslavice over meadows and pastureland, which was settled in 1744 with the establishment of a precise field boundary. In 1789, forced labor was replaced by cash benefits. The residents had to pay tithes to both the dean's office in Velká Bystřice and the pastor in Velký Týnec. Most of the residents were Czech. Until the middle of the 19th century, the village was always subject to the Olomouc cathedral chapter.

After the abolition of patrimonial Svísedlice / Swiesedlitz formed a municipality in the district administration of Olomouc. From 1872 the community was called Svisedlice / Swisedlitz . The school house was built in 1902. Since 1921 the community belonged to the Okres Olomouc-venkov. In the same year the place was connected to the electricity network. The current place name Svésedlice was introduced in 1926. In 1931, Ludmila Zatloukalová-Coufalová was elected as the first female mayor in all of Moravia. In 1935 315 people lived in the village, in 1950 there were 206. In 1949 the community was assigned to the Okres Olomouc-okolí and since its abolition in 1961 it has belonged to the Okres Olomouc. In 1976 it was incorporated into Přáslavice and in 1980 together with it to Velká Bystřice. In 1990 Svésedlice broke away from Velká Bystřice and formed its own municipality. Today there is a 45 m high EUROTEL transmission mast not far from the village.
