history

In the nearby Boček- (German Lautscher ) cave Paleolithic tools from the Aurignacia were found together with skeletal parts and skulls of the Cro-Magnon man . With 14 C data of up to 31,000 BP , they belong to the few secured human remains from the Aurignacia.

Other archaeological finds in the area around Mladeč date from the Neolithic Age .

Mladeč was first mentioned in documents in 1350 as the property of Margaret of Mladeč. In 1371 the village was attached to the Aussee rule . There is evidence of a mill in Mladeč since 1407. In 1487 the Lords of Wlaschim acquired the rule, followed by the Boskowitzers from 1533 and the Liechtensteiners from 1597 . In 1826, the Lautscher cave was discovered during quarrying for road construction.

After the abolition of patrimonial Mladeč / Lautsch with the districts Nový Zámek / Neuschloß and Nový Dvůr / Neuhof formed a municipality in the Litovel district from 1850 . In 1877 a village school was established in Mladeč. In 1914, the Littau – Groß Senitz local railway took up the Litovel-Mladeč branch line, which connected the Lautscher limestone quarries to the railway network. In 1918 the huts at the Lautscher Cave were inaugurated. The cave was protected as a nature reserve in 1933. After the dissolution of the Okres Litovel, the community came to the Okres Olomouc in 1961 , at the same time Sobáčov and Měrotín were incorporated. A social welfare institution was established in Nové Zámky Castle in 1964. In 1990 Měrotín broke away and formed its own municipality again.
