Lipinka (German Lepinke ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located nine kilometers northwest of Uničov and belongs to the Okres Olomouc .

geography

Lipinka is located in the Úsovská vrchovina (Outer Hills) at the southern foot of the Bradlo (600 m). In the south the hills Kárník (400 m) and Skalka (425 m) rise. To the east runs the Uničov - Šumperk railway line , where the nearest train stop is at Nová Hradečná .

Neighboring towns are Obědné in the north, Horní Libina and Dolní Libina in the northeast, Nová Hradečná in the east, Sídliště in the southeast, Pískov in the south, Klopina in the southwest, Veleboř in the west and Rohle and Kamenná in the northwest.

history

Lipinka was first mentioned in a document in 1371. The place, surrounded by forests, used to be a village of charcoal burners and woodcutters.

After the abolition of patrimonial the place came to the Litovel district in 1850 . Until 1880 the Czech name of the place was Lípinka . In 1910 Lipinka / Lepinke became part of the Šternberk district . In 1930 the place had 377 inhabitants, 345 of whom were Czech and 14 German.

After the Munich Agreement , the place belonging to the Czech language island was annexed to the German Reich and belonged to the Sternberg district from 1939 to 1945 . In 1939 the village had 369 inhabitants.

Between 1945 and 1960 Lipinka was again part of the Okres Šternberk and after its dissolution in 1961 was assigned to the Okres Šumperk . Since January 1st 2007 Lipinka belongs to the Okres Olomouc.
