Rohle is a municipality with 653 inhabitants (August 28, 2006) in the Czech Republic . It is located 12 km northeast of Mohelnice and belongs to the Okres Šumperk .
geography
The place, surrounded by mountains, is 337 m above sea level. M. in the valley of the Rohelnice and several small right tributaries. Neighboring towns are Strupšín in the north, Benkov in the northeast, Nedvězí and Kamenná in the east, Lipinka in the southeast, Veleboř in the south, and Bezděkov u Úsova and Janoslavice in the southwest.
history
The first written mention of Rohle comes from the year 1356. The place belonged partly to the Hohenstadt rule and partly to the Brníčko Castle . From the 16th century until the abolition of patrimonial rule in 1850, Rohle was then altogether subservient to Hohenstadt.
In 1904 the village of Svinov / pigs was renamed Janoslavice to distinguish it from the village of the same name near Pavlov . In 1976 the neighboring villages Janoslavice and Nedvězí were incorporated.
After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Empire and belonged to the Hohenstadt district until 1945 .
