In 1834 the village consisted of 69 houses and had 453 inhabitants. Until the middle of the 19th century, Zborov always remained subservient to Hohenstadt.

After the abolition of patrimonial Zborov / Zborow formed a political municipality in the Hohenstadt district from 1850. Because of its mountainous location, agriculture was not very productive, so that the residents earned extra income by working from home, especially with the manufacture of wood products. In 1858 Zborov received its own school. In 1900 391 people lived in the 75 houses in the village. In 1930 Zborov had 378 inhabitants, five of them Germans.

After the Munich Agreement , the village, almost exclusively inhabited by Czechs, was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Hohenstadt district until 1945 . In 1939 Zborow had 383 inhabitants. After the end of World War II, Zborov returned to Czechoslovakia. Some of the residents left the place and settled in the border areas .

In 1950, 278 people lived in 83 houses in the community. After the dissolution of the Okres Zábřeh, Zborov came to the Okres Šumperk at the beginning of 1961 . In 1976 the school was closed. Between 1985 and 1991 the place was incorporated into Štíty . 1991 lived in Zborov 236 people, the place consisted of 54 houses.
