Kamenná (German stones ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 13 kilometers south of Šumperk and belongs to the Okres Šumperk .
geography
Kamenná is located at the western foot of the Bradlo ( Bradlstein , 600 m) and the Tří Kameny ( Dreistein , 558 m) in the Úsovská vrchovina ( Ausseer hill country ).
Neighboring towns are Nedvězí in the north, Obědné in the northeast, Libina in the east, Nová Hradečná and Lipinka in the southeast, Veleboř in the south, Bezděkov u Úsova and Janoslavice in the southwest, Rohle in the west and Strupšín in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of the village belonging to the Brníčko Castle took place in 1385. In 1446, stones, together with the Zálesí area around Rohle, came under the Hohenstadt dominion . In the hoof register of 1677, 17 properties are shown for the village. In 1834 stone consisted of 60 houses and had 408 inhabitants. In addition to farming, the residents earned an extra income by weaving their homes and making nets. From 1848, the local entrepreneur Johann Anderlitschka began gradually to manufacture wire mesh.
After the abolition of patrimonial , Steine / Kamenná formed a community in the Hohenstadt district from 1850. In 1873 Anderlitschka founded a wire goods factory in Steine. In 1881 a village school was set up, before the children had been to Rohle. In 1900 553 people lived in the 64 houses of the village. In 1908 a cardboard box factory was established. In 1930 there were 449 people in the community, including 18 Czechs.
After the Munich Agreement , the village was annexed to the German Empire in 1938 and belonged to the Hohenstadt district until 1945 . In 1939 Steine had 461 inhabitants. After the Second World War, the German residents were expelled and the Czechs settled again.
In 1950, 367 people lived in the 84 houses of Kamenná. At the end of 1960 the Okres Zábřeh was dissolved and the municipality was assigned to the Okres Šumperk. The factory continued to grow and in 2001 consisted of 92 houses with 590 residents.
