Ruda nad Moravou (German Eisenberg an der March ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers west of Šumperk and belongs to the Okres Šumperk .
geography
Ruda nad Moravou extends on the right bank of the March in the Hannsdorfer Bergland . To the west rises the Strážnice (516 m), northeast of the Sklenný vrch (608 m), in the east of the Blýskač (502 m) and southeast of the Burdův vrch (489 m).
Neighboring towns are Hostice in the north, Alojzov in the north-east, Hrabenov in the east, Radomilov and Bartoňov in the south-east, Truska and Olšany in the south, Doubravice in the south-west, Bušín in the west and Jakubovice and Hartíkov in the north-west.
history
The first written mention of the place took place in 1302. In 1596 Johann the Younger von Zierotin bought the village and added it to the rule of Groß Ullersdorf . In 1614 Ladislav Velen von Zerotein acquired the rule. Its goods were confiscated after the Battle of the White Mountain and sold to Karl von Liechtenstein in 1622 . In 1643 the Swedes occupied and plundered the castle.
After the abolition of patrimonial Eisenberg formed a community in the district of Mährisch Schönberg from 1850 with the districts of Ober Eisenberg and Nieder Eisenberg . In 1930 the community had 982 inhabitants.
As a result of the Munich Agreement , the municipality was annexed to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Mährisch Schönberg district until 1945 . In 1939 Eisenberg had 924 inhabitants. After the Second World War, the German residents were expelled .
In 1961 Hostice was incorporated, in 1976 Štědrákova Lhota followed and in 1980 Hrabenov and Bartoňov-Radomilov.

The municipality of Ruda nad Moravou consists of the districts Bartoňov ( Bartelsdorf ), Hostice ( Hosterlitz ), Hrabenov ( Rabenau ), Radomilov ( Radmühl ), Ruda nad Moravou ( Eisenberg an der March ) and Štědrákova Lhota ( Tschödrich ).
