history

The first written mention of the episcopal fief Ganeiouici took place in 1141 in an inventory of the Olomouc bishop Heinrich Zdik . In 1320 the village was referred to as Hanowicz , 1384 as Hoynauicz or Honowicz , from 1403 as Hanyeowicz or Hanyowicz , 1440 as Haniowicz , from 1446 as Haniewicz and 1498 as Hanějovice . The feudal men changed frequently. From the middle of the 15th century the fief was given to the owners of the Chodobín manor. These were successively Výšek from Střítěž, Šebor from Drahanovice, Jan Selitský from Dobrá Voda, the brothers Jan and Mikuláš from Chudobín. In 1518 Jan Zoubek received the fief from Zdětín and made Hanějovice his seat. He was followed by his sons Joachim († 1571) and Bernhard († 1569). They had a brewery built around 1555. Bernhard's son Jan Bohuslav sold the heir to Jan Proček von Zástřizl . He had the renaissance castle built in 1580. In 1584 his son Bernard Prakšický from Zástřizl inherited the property. He had a tavern and a forge built in the village. Bernard Prakšický was arrested after the Battle of White Mountain and died in the Spielberg Fortress in 1622 . His goods were confiscated and given to the Olomouc cathedral chapter. The registers have been kept in Cholina since 1631. During the Thirty Years War the place was devastated by the Swedes in 1643. A mansion was built on the site of the old brewery, which the chapter sold to Hans Klober in 1691. In 1686 the cathedral chapter had a new brewery built. Other forms of the name were Haňovice (from 1526), Honowitz (1591), Haňowitz , Hannowitz (from 1676), Anowitz (1692), Haniowitz (from 1720), Haniowitium (1771) and Hainowitz (1787). In 1846 the cathedral chapter leased the Haniowitz capitular brewery to Jakob Winter. Until the middle of the 19th century the village was always subject to the Olomouc chapter.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Haňovice / Haniowitz with the hamlet of Old Brno / Old Brno after 1850 a municipality in the district administration Littau . In 1881 the Czech place name Hanějovice was used. With the Litovel peasant brewery and malt house founded in 1893, the Haňovice brewery became a competing company. In 1894 the brewery leaseholder Karl Winter bought the brewery and farm buildings for 65,800 guilders, the land continued to be leased. In 1897 the municipal representatives of Senička, Loučka, Bílsko, Cakov, Olbramice, Vilémov, Kluzov, Slavětín, Savín, Nová Ves, Chudobín, Haňovice, Myslechovice and Červenka complained to the chapter about the material and moral damage caused by the leasing of the property Per Meat to the Israelites Winter, while 18-20 guilders were raised from them and there are allegedly other Christian interested parties who would also be willing to pay a higher rent. In the following year, the brewery and malting goods were again leased to Adolf and Otto Winter. The volunteer fire brigade was formed in 1898. In 1899, the Litovel peasant brewery bought the brewery from the Winter family and had it shut down. The Haňovice malt house continued to be run by the Winter family and in 1913 employed a hundred people. In 1914, the Littau – Groß Senitz local railway was put into operation. After the establishment of Czechoslovakia , the community planted a liberty linden tree in the village square. The malt house ceased operations in 1933; Their buildings were used by the Wehrmacht as a material store from 1942 and converted into a cowshed after the war. In July 1960 Chudobín, Myslechovice and Nová Ves were incorporated. After the dissolution of the Okres Litovel, the place came to the Okres Olomouc at the beginning of 1961.
