history

In the place of Kluzov was the village of Staré Debrní , which died out in the troubled times of the 15th century. In the middle of the 16th century, Joachim and Bernhard Zoubek from Zdětín auf Haňovice began to repopulate the desolate place, which in 1552 was called Kluczen . After the deaths of Bernhard († 1569) and Joachim († 1571), Bernhard's son Jan Bohuslav Zoubek von Zdětín sold the heir to Jan Proček von Zástřizl . In 1584 his son Bernard Prakšický of Zástřizl inherited the property. From 1590 the settlement was called Dobrní or Dobrň , 1608 Klosoff , from 1622 Klučov , 1631 Klosůw , from 1632 Klusov , from 1657 Kluzov , 1672 as Klausow and from 1676 Klusow or Klussow . Bernard Prakšický was arrested after the Battle of White Mountain and died in the Spielberg Fortress in 1622 . His goods, including a part of Klučov , were confiscated and given to the Olomouc Cathedral Chapter. A small part of the village was subject to Chudobín. The registers have been kept in Cholina since 1631 . In 1710, land registers were created for Klusov . In 1716 the settlement consisted of six Chalupners. From 1771 the village was called Old Brno and Klusovium . In 1790 the place had grown to nine houses and had 65 inhabitants. In 1834 a total of 138 people lived in the 22 houses in Klusov / Alt Brünn , four of which were subordinate to Chudobín. Until the middle of the 19th century, the village was always partly subject to the Olomouc chapter or the Chodobín rule.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Stare Brno / Old Brno after 1850 a district of the municipality Haňovice in the district administration Littau . Klusov prevailed as a Czech place name in the 1850s . From 1885 the spelling Klůzov was used, alongside the popular names Klozov and Starý Brno were also common. In 1900 the place consisted of 26 houses and had 154 Czech residents throughout. In 1914, the Littau – Groß Senitz local railway was put into operation. The current place name Kluzov was introduced in 1921. During the German occupation in 1939 the name was changed to Lusov / Lusau , which was reversed after the end of the war. After the dissolution of the Okres Litovel, the place came to the Okres Olomouc at the beginning of 1961. In 1980 Kluzov was incorporated into Litovel together with Haňovice . After the Velvet Revolution , Haňovice and Kluzov broke away from Litovel on January 1, 1991 and formed their own municipality. In the same year there were 80 inhabitants in Kluzov. In the 2001 census, there were 82 people in Kluzov's 29 houses.

regional customs

Since the 19th century, the kirmes ( hody ) has been celebrated in Kluzov every year on the Sunday after All Saints' Day. The custom, which was extinguished under communist rule, was resumed in 1999 on the initiative of long-time residents. In 2001 the Haňovice municipal administration took over the organization and since 2006 the Haňovští civic association.
