history

Lucaz was first mentioned in writing in 1131 in a list of properties from the Olomouc bishop Heinrich Zdik . In 1269 Andreas de Luchan owned the Luchan estate . The Olomouc and Prague canon Wernher acquired parts of the property around 1300. In the 14th century there was a free yard with two mills. In 1348 Wok from Kunstadt auf Lišnice is documented as the owner of part of Luczan , another part belonged to Niklas von Duban. A little later, Wok's share of Boček fell from Kunstadt to Lišnice and, after his death in 1355, shared with his widow Anna and their sons Smil I († 1396) and Friedrich († 1385). In 1364 Smil von Kunstadt bought the other share from Veit von Luczan and signed a morning gift of 240 marks to his wife Katharina von Wildenberg on the Lautschka , Lautschan and Klein Senitz estates . In 1376 the estate was jointly owned by Smil and his brother Erhard ( Heralt ) from Kunstadt auf Lišnice. Erhard sold the estate including the Freihof and two mills in 1378 for 600 marks to Stephan von Dolein , prior of the Charterhouse "Vallis Josaphat" in Dollein . The purchase was confirmed in 1406 by Margrave Jobst of Moravia . The predicate of Luczan was used by Smil's son of the same name Smil (II.) And Erhard von Kunstadt until 1418, although they no longer owned the estate. In 1512 the place was called Lučany , from 1518 Laučany , 1669 Lauczan and from 1677 Lautschan . The registers have been kept in Senice na Hané since 1714.

On July 24, 1717, Rudolf Christoph Freiherr von Witten acquired the Laucžian estate including the Klein Latin farm for 29,400 Rhenish guilders from the “Domus Vallis Josephus” Charterhouse in Olomouc and added it to his allodial rule Chudwein ( Chudobín ). Since Witten had no sons of his own, his stepson Franz Reinholdt Freiherr von Andlern inherited the property in 1733 on condition that the name Witten be continued. Franz Reinholdt was later raised to the rank of count by Andlern-Witten. His eldest son Rudolf inherited him in 1766, who died childless in 1778. The Latin form of the name Lauczanium has been handed down from 1771 . Rudolf's brother Philipp von Andlern-Witten had the Klein Latin farm parceled out in 1786 and the Andlersdorf settlement laid out. Two years later he leased Chudwein with Lautschan for 7,000 guilders a year to Joachim von Stettenhofen . After Philipp von Andlern-Witten's death in 1801 the property passed to his niece Anna von Gilleis, who was née von Spindler. The following year they sold the goods to the Schönberg merchant Franz Xaver Tersch for 306,000 guilders . In 1819 his eldest son Anton Ritter Tersch inherited Chudwein and Lautschan, the younger son Franz received Johrnsdorf in 1823 . In 1834 Lautschan consisted of 84 houses, in which 524 all Hanakic speakers lived. In addition to the village of Lautschan, Andlersdorf and 28 houses from Klein Latin belonged to the estate . Until the middle of the 19th century, the village always remained subservient to Chudwein.

After the abolition of patrimonial Loučany / Lautschan formed from 1850 a community in the district administration of Olomouc . In 1875 the elementary school started teaching, previously there was a trivial school. From 1921 the municipality belonged to the Okres Olomouc-venkov. In 1949 Loučany came to Okres Olomouc-okolí and since 1961 the place has belonged to Okres Olomouc . In 1974 the village was incorporated into Náměšť na Hané . After the Velvet Revolution, Loučany broke away from Náměšť at the end of 1990 and has since formed its own community. At the beginning of 2005, 635 people lived in the 220 houses in Loučany.
