Neighboring towns are Doloplazy , Olešnice and Daskabát in the north, Velký Újezd and Výkleky in the Northeast, Zákřov, hyk and Hambálek the east, Lazníky the southeast, Prostřední Mlýn, Dolní Mlýn, Penčice and Penčičky in the south, Nelešovice , Lipňany in the southwest, Přestavlky and Vacanovice in the west and Čechovice and Svésedlice in the northwest.

history

A first written mention comes from the year 1228. In 1437 Mladota von Prusinowitz bought the village from his brother-in-law, including the Vorwerk, farms and patronage. In 1526 Tršice was elevated to a town. In 1568 Nicodem von Bobolusk sold the Tršice estate, consisting of the chateau, the farm, the mill, the brewery and the town of Tršice, the new village of Otěhřib or Daskabát and half of the desert village of Zákřov to the Olomouc bishop Wilhelm Prusinovský of Víckov . The small rule was considerably expanded by the diocese of Olomouc . In 1700 it now included the villages Vacanovice, Radslavice , Pacetluky , Lipňany, Daskabát and Sušice . In addition to the subordinate villages, the Olomouc capitular estates Penčice, Čelechovice , Výkleky , Dub , Uhřičice , Suchonice , Dluhonice, Nenakonice, Křenovice and Polkovice as well as the vicariate representatives Krčmaň , Doloplazy and Nelešovice were subject to the Tršice beer compulsory . On July 19, 1830, a city fire destroyed the castle with all farm buildings and the brewery as well as the church, the rectory and 41 houses. Until the middle of the 19th century Tršice always remained a separate rule in the possession of the diocese.

The brewery was shut down in the 1880s and converted into a malt house in 1884. During the First World War, the Wolf & Neumann malt house went bankrupt. Several residents of the community helped hide the Jewish Wolf family during World War II . Six of them received the honorary title Righteous Among the Nations . On April 19, 1945, 19 people were murdered by the Gestapo and the Vlasov Army in the Kianitz (Czech Kyjanice ) massacre in the Oder Mountains , most of whom came from Zákřov.

Community structure

The municipality Tršice consists of the districts Hostkovice ( Hoskowitz ), Lipňany ( Lipnian ), Přestavlky ( Pschestawlk ), Tršice ( Tirschitz ), Vacanovice ( Watzanowitz ) and Zákřov ( Stauden ), which also form cadastral districts.
