Career

Grønn jumped from 1995 in the Continental Cup (COC) and reached there in his first season 1995/96 a total of 107 points and thus place 81 in the overall ranking. After the 1996/97 season started very positively, he jumped in the ski jumping world cup for the first time on November 30, 1996 . Already in his first competition on the large hill in his home town of Lillehammer , he finished 15th in the World Cup points. He was able to repeat this success in jumping in Innsbruck and ended up in 18th place. In the overall World Cup ranking of the 1996/97 season he finished 64th with 29 points after he had already achieved 44th place in the overall ranking of the 1996/97 Four Hills Tournament . He finished the Continental Cup season in 60th place.

In the following seasons he could no longer build on the successes of 1996 and 1997 and mostly ended up only in the lower ranks. For this reason he ended his active ski jumping career after the 1999/2000 Continental Cup season .
