Egon H. Rakette
Egon Helmut Rakette (born May 10, 1909 in Ratibor , Upper Silesia, † October 2, 1991 in Oberwinter ) was a German novelist and poet . In 1964 he was awarded the Eichendorff Literature Prize.
Egon H. Rakette was a Bauhaus student. He witnessed the closure in Dessau and Mies van der Rohe's last attempt to preserve the institution on a private basis as Bauhaus Berlin .
