Egon Schübeler (born September 4, 1927 in Flensburg ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He was 1975-1987 Second Vice President of the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein .

Life

After graduating from high school , Schübeler studied agriculture , which he graduated with a degree in agriculture . In 1955 he received his doctorate as Dr. agr. at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel with the thesis "The relative efficiency of landscape-bound farm types in Schleswig-Holstein" . Then Schübeler worked as an independent farmer on his own farm, Rüggesnorgaard. From 1955 to 1978 he was mayor of the municipality of Rügge. He wrote the "Chronicle of the municipality of Rügge", which appeared in 1995.

Egon Schübeler is a Protestant , married to Jutta, geb. Schattke, you have three children together: Dirk, Karen van den Berg and Axel.

Political party

Schübeler joined the CDU in 1953.

MP

From 1955 to 1970 he belonged to the district council of the Schleswig district .

From 1967 to 1987 he was a member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein . There he was deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group from 1971 to 1975 and deputy chairman of the national education committee and from 1979 to 1987 deputy chairman of the committee for culture, youth and sport. On May 26, 1975 he was elected second vice-president of the state parliament and confirmed in office in 1979 and 1983 respectively.

Egon Schübeler entered the state parliament in 1967 as a directly elected member of the constituency Südangeln - Schwansen and since 1971 as a member of the constituency of Schleswig-West.

Honors

On January 28, 1985 Schübeler was awarded the Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Cross of Merit .
