Egon Wellenbrink

Egon Wellenbrink (born March 28, 1945 in Wolfsburg , then the town of the KdF car near Fallersleben ) is a German television director, presenter , actor , composer, copywriter, producer and musician.

Life

Professional career

Wellenbrink was a DJ and record store owner in Munich, composed music for Rudi Carrell's Tagesschau and toured with Roy Black for four years . At the beginning of the 1980s he went to Bremen and became a weather editor for regional television , where he was discovered for the Melitta advertising.

He became known as the " Melitta man". From 1989 to 1999 he stood in front of the camera in over 130 different commercials for the coffee roaster and filter manufacturer . For the first three years, the director was the well-known Swiss cabaret artist Emil Steinberger .

In 1991 he shot the TV series MenschDino as an actor and lead actor for Sat.1 . In 1993 he was the main actor in the ZDF production Walter , together with his daughter Susanna.

Since 2008 he has also been promoting the convenience products from Müllermilch . He also stood in front of the camera together with Bruno Maccallini , who is known from the Nescafé advertising.

In 2009 he took part in the celebrity dinner for VOX .

Private

Wellenbrink moved to Mallorca in the 1990s . He is married to his second marriage and has two children from this marriage. His son, known as Nico Santos , is an active pop singer. Clarissa, his youngest daughter, works as a photo model. His oldest daughter Susanna from his first marriage and her daughter Mia-Sophie are also actresses.
