Ehrenfried Weidemann

Ehrenfried Weidemann (born February 2, 1914 in Schwetz an der Weichsel , † July 20, 1998 in Lübeck ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Weidemann attended elementary school, the Hermann-Löns-Gymnasium and the agricultural school and did an apprenticeship in his parents' company. Then he was active in the active conscription in Stargard in Pomerania . He worked in the Reich Finance Administration, attended the Reich Finance Schools Wöllershof and Bodenbach-Tetschen and passed the inspector's examination. He took part in World War II and was imprisoned. In 1950 he started his service at the Lübeck tax office, where he was a company and large company auditor and most recently a tax advisor.

In May 1950 Weidemann became a member of the CDU. He was 1st chairman of the Junge Union Lübeck, in March 1954 founder of the CDU local association Marli-Brandenbaum-Eichholz, 1st chairman and district board member in the CDU district association Lübeck, district treasurer, active in citizenship committees for 20 years and from December 1956 a member of the citizenship. From 1975 to 1979 he was a member of the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein .

Weidemann was a holder of the Freiherr vom Stein medal .
