Ehrenhard Skiera

Ehrenhard Karl Skiera (* 1947 ) is a professor i. R. for pedagogy with a focus on school pedagogy at the University of Flensburg ,

Skiera received her doctorate in 1981 from the University of Giessen with a dissertation on the Jena Plan movement in the Netherlands. He was a lecturer at the Goethe Institute in Finland and from 1989 to 2012 professor in Flensburg. In 1990 he received an honorary doctorate from the Faculty of Education at Jyväskylä University , Finland. He has taught at universities in Finland, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands and has been an honorary professor at the Loránd University in Budapest (ELTE) since 2016 . His main research interests are reform pedagogyin Europe, education in the Netherlands and Finland, child anthropology, modern teaching concepts, teacher training in comparison and school development.

Skiera is also a music teacher especially for guitar lessons.
