Ehrentraud Bayer
Ehrentraud Bayer (born August 16, 1953 in Munich ) is a German botanist .
Bayer received his doctorate in 1986 from the University of Munich . In her dissertation she dealt with the genus Alstroemeria in Chile .
She is Vice Director of the Botanical Garden in Munich-Nymphenburg . Bayer was the curator for food plants, southern crops and cold house plants. She is the head of public relations at the Botanical Garden Munich-Nymphenburg and was a private lecturer at the Faculty of Biology at the LMU Munich. She worked on the biosystematics of the Alstroemeriaceae . She was also the chief conservator of the Botanical Garden in Munich-Nymphenburg.
