Commander II class

The decoration of the Romanian eagle was donated on August 16, 1933 by King Carol II of Romania and was intended to honor senators and members of the Romanian parliament . Foreign parliamentarians could also be entrusted with the medal.

Order decoration

The religious character is from bronze crafted gilded or silvered crowned eagle , which in its claws a sword (right) and a scepter (left) wears. The enamelled coat of arms of the kingdom is placed on the eagle .

Carrying method

Grand officers wore the award as a neck medal as well as an eight-pointed gold-plated breast star on which the medal is placed. Commanders 1st and 2nd class also decorated around the neck, the 1st class being gold-plated and the 2nd class silver-plated. Officer (gold-plated) and knight (silver-plated) wore the award on the ribbon on the left side of the chest.

The ribbon is blue with a yellow side and a red border.
