Ehrikon (624 m above sea level) belongs to the municipality of Wildberg ( Pfäffikon district ) in the Swiss canton of Zurich . The three former civil parishes Wildberg, Ehrikon and Schalchen formed the political municipality Wildberg, which belonged to the Fehraltorf district , since 1798 . In 1931 the civil parishes were dissolved.
The origin of the name comes from the Latin Herichunmarcha, which denotes the area of an Erich. Old agricultural machinery and equipment can be viewed in the collection created by Ernst Spörri.
