Eichenhof (Zolling)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eichenhof is a part of the municipality of Zolling in the district of Freising . The manor is 1.5 kilometers southeast of Zolling an der Amper .

The land on which the estate is located today originally belonged to the municipality of Tüntenhausen . An agricultural property was built there from the beginning of the 20th century. In 1933 the property was included in the property tax register and from then on it was added to Zurnhausen . After several changes of ownership, in 1966 Rolf Kauka acquired the now almost 30 hectare site, which was also called the Caucasus because of its surroundings .

In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , the municipality of Tüntenhausen was incorporated into the city of Freising . In 1978 the estate was renamed and has been part of the Zolling community ever since. Since the place name Zurnhausen was now misleading (Zurnhausen lies above the Ampertal and belongs to the city of Freising), the estate was given the new place name Eichenhof in 1979 .

At the end of 1982 Rolf Kauka sold the Eichenhof to Gustav Adolf Blum. To this day, the estate is owned by the Blum family, who run a riding facility there. Simone Blum became world champion in show jumping at the 2018 World Equestrian Games .
