Eichhof is a hamlet in the district of the core town of Niederstetten in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .

geography

Eichhof is three kilometers southwest of Niederstetten on the L 1020 state road. Adolzhausen in the northwest is about one and a half kilometers. In the south, Ermershausen is one and a half kilometers away, and it is two kilometers to Sichertshausen in the southeast.

history

The place goes back to a rural settlement that was built in 1933 on the grounds of an old princely domain. The name comes from the wood that grows there. Eichhof was once an accessory made by Haltbergstetten.

Today 30 people still live in the hamlet (as of January 2010). The farms on which agriculture is still practiced are mostly run as a sideline.
