Eidsivathing
The Eidsivathing was in the Middle Ages one of the four regional thinge in Norway . The Thing meetings were held in Eidsvoll , northeast of Oslo .
In the early days, Eidsivathing was the people's assembly and the court for the people around Lake Mjøsa . The Thing's area of responsibility later included Raumafylke ( Romerike ), Heinafylke ( Hedmark ) and Hadafylke ( Hadeland ), and even later Østerdalen and Gudbrandsdalen .
The other three Norwegian things were the gulathing , the borgarthing and the frostathing .
