A room with a view is a seven-episode television series by DEFA from 1978.
action
The series tells the life of Jette, who lives as an orphan with her grandmother, Mrs. König. As Jette does not know that she is an orphan, she sees in the former sailor of the People's Navy Martin Kirst, who as in the house lodger moves in, her father. Her grandmother is reluctant to do this, and she tries to get rid of the lodger. In the excitement, she has a heart attack and has to go to the hospital, so that Martin Kirst has to take care of the little girl.
