A diplomatic incident

A diplomatic incident (original title The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding and a Selection of Entrées ) is a short story collection by Agatha Christie . It was first published in the United Kingdom on October 24, 1960 by William Collins and Sons .

The publication in the German-speaking area turns out to be very complicated. It was not until 2011 that the original compilation appeared as the 74th volume of The Official Collection Agatha Christie, published by the French publisher Hachette Collections .

The collection is remarkable in that it is the only collection of short stories in which the author's two famous detectives, Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple , appear. (Hercule determines Poirot in the first five stories, and Miss Marple in the sixth.)
